Bread Workshop: Introduction to Bread | Saturday 23rd January | 10am- 3pm
Ever wanted to fill your home with the smell of freshly baked bread but don’t know where to begin? Then this is the course for you! In just one day you will master four different styles of bread and enjoy an informal, hands-on bread making workshop.
You will learn how to make a traditional split tin loaf as well as a speedy Soda bread, easy and delicious flatbreads and finish with impressive cinnamon and raisin twists. This course will take the fear out of baking and answer any questions you may have on kneading, shaping, scoring and proving.
We will guide you through every step, from discussing ingredients, equipment, suppliers to mixing and kneading the dough, proving, shaping, scoring, basting and baking. Suitable for all abilities.
Recipes on this course may include:
- Soda Bread
- Split Tin
- Cinnamon & Raisin Twist
The course will run from 10am until 3pm and include a light lunch and tea/coffee refreshments. This course will be a fully hands on experience and include all the ingredients, equipment, refreshments and recipes for the day.
