Bread Workshop: Italian Baking | Saturday 8th May | 10am – 3pm

Course Details…

Italian baking is the baking of passion, poverty and excess. It is all flavour, texture and feel. There is an honesty to it which is refreshing and exciting – if it looks delicious it will be delicious. From a culture centred around family, Italian food is nourishing and bold – capable of feeding large ravenous relatives!

In this course you will learn not only savoury Italian classics such as Foccacia and olive oil crackers you will also make delicious sweet treats such as Amaretti biscuits which are perfect with a cup of coffee and Biscotti which when paired with a sweet zabaglione sauce are a great easy dinner party dessert.

The course will run from 10am until 3pm and include a light lunch and tea/coffee refreshments. This course will be a fully hands on experience and include all the ingredients, equipment, refreshments and recipes for the day.
