Bread Workshop: Festive Bread | Friday 18th December | 10am – 3pm
Join us for this festive bread workshop for Christmas, knead along with the carol singing and get into the spirit of the season. For this Christmas themed workshop your chef tutor has prepared recipes to include a perfect mix of homemade breads for your family and friends to enjoy.
Share soft and lemony impressive Pandoro star cake with tea or coffee and friends over the festive season. Quickly knock up a spiced soda bread to eat with lashings of cold butter after a traditional walk. Recover from the rich feasting with Boxing day soup and a cheesey wreath to share. Our hazelnut, orange and chocolate tear-and-share bread is a great way to finish dinner with guests. Get ahead with your Christmas baking, these breads are perfect to freeze ahead and gently warmed before serving will add to the deliciousness.
We will guide you through every step, from discussing ingredients, equipment, suppliers to mixing and kneading the dough, proving, shaping, scoring, basting and baking. Suitable for all abilities.
The course will run from 10am until 3pm and include a light lunch and tea/coffee refreshments. This course will be a fully hands on experience and include all the ingredients, equipment, refreshments and recipes for the day.
