Join us for a day of pastry enlightenment, where we will reveal the secrets of making first-class pastry. This pastry cookery course is perfect for those wanting to improve pastry-making skills. You will master classic pastry recipes including choux, sweet shortcrust and jaconde sponge. You will not only learn about pastry but also fillings such as crème patisserie, ganache and bavarois.
Recipes on this course may include:
- Profiteroles with ganache and creme patisserie
- Raspberry macaroons
- Coconut jaconde with lime and vanilla bavarois and passion fruit jelly
The course will run from 10.00am until 3.00pm and includes practical and demonstration cookery sessions, lunch and refreshments. All the ingredients, equipment and the recipes for the day will be provided.
