In Spain the tradition of meeting friends and moving from bar to bar, enjoying a drink and a snack in each, is a great way to spend the evening but it’s also a fun way to eat at home. Tapas is an unpretentious, colourful Spanish food using fresh ingredients and bold flavours. It is simple to prepare and cook, the perfect food to enjoy with friends and family. Tapas is all about variety, and we will be working our way through simple classic tapas to more complex traditional Spanish dishes, culminating in our own wonderful Tapas feast.
Spanish Tapas is an undeniably appealing way of eating and on this course you will learn how to make a range of Spanish tapas. You will take away your recipes and discover Spain in the kitchen! Whether cooking for a small group or party, Tapas is great for sharing with friends. With a variety of Tapas recipes, you'll not be short on inspiration. Recipes may include:
Chorizo and Manchego croquettes
Sauteed potatoes with feta and lemon
Pan con Tomate
Chorizo meatballs in a rich smoky sauce
The course will run from 11am until 1pm and include tea/coffee refreshments. This course will be a fully hands on experience and include all the ingredients, equipment, refreshments and recipes for the duration.
